Can I Perform a Multiple Channel Scan on my PCI-1200 Without Using Channel 0?

Hardware: Legacy DAQ Devices>>Multifunction DAQ>>PCI-1200

Problem:
I am trying to perform a multiple channel analog input using my PCI-1200 board, but it seems that I am required to include channel 0 on my channel list. Is there a way around this?

Solution:
When performing a multiple channel scan, the channels are scanned in decreasing consecutive order; the highest-numbered channel is the start channel, and channel 0 is the last channel in the sequence. This is the way that multiple channels are scanned by the PCI-1200 ( PCI-1200 User Manual, see page 4-8). This means that you have to include channel 0 in your channel string if you are referencing the channels by number. However, you can use virtual channels to change the scan sequence. Using virtual channels, the channels can be placed in any order when you are configuring your analog input operation, and not all channels need to be included.
