Problem: Will I get an error message in LabVIEW/MAX(Measurement and Automation Explorer) when a channel(s) in my [c]FP-DO-410 is short circuited? Solution: You will not get an error message but you will get a warning message in LabVIEW/MAX when a channel(s) is short circuited in your [c]FP-DO-410 module. The [c]FP-DO-410 module has two green status LEDs POWER, READY and in addition each channel has two status LEDs. The green LED lights when the channel is in the ON state and the red LED lights when the channel is short-circuited. In MAX the status of each channel can be checked under Data Neighborhood»FP @IP Address»FP controller»FP module. When the FP module, the [c]FP-DO-410 in this case is highlighted the STATUS tab is visible. When a channel(s) is short circuited a warning message is displayed under the status tab alligned with the particular channel. In LabVIEW you can wire a Error Out Cluster to the error out node of the FP Write.vi. When a channel(s) is short circuited you will receive the following warning message in the front panel.
