Problem: I want to ouput more than 1 mA with my NI 9263 cDAQ module. What is the maximum current output for the NI 9263 module? Solution: It is possible to output more than 1 mA of current through the NI 9263 module. The NI 9263 module can output a maximum current load of 4 mA. To achieve more than 1 mA of current, tie multiple output channels together. More specifically, you would need to output the same voltage across the desired number of channels. This would allow the voltage to flow in parallel and achieve a specific current load. Also, make sure that the channels are updating the same voltages at the same time.
