Why does the Real-Time Execution Trace Toolkit Hang on Launch?

Problem:

 

I installed the Real-Time Execution Trace Toolkit, but when I open the program it hangs. Why can't I run the Trace Toolkit?

Solution:

 

The hang occurs because the stand-alone Trace Toolkit does not install a component required for execution. To resolve the hang, install the appropriate LabVIEW Run-Time Engine with the USI component included.
