Setting Input Limits for Data Acquisition Hardware in DASYLab Primary Software: Other NI Software>>DASYLabPrimary Software Version: 8.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: How can I set the input limits for National Instruments data acquisition hardware through DASYLab? Solution: In DASYLab, go to the NI-DAQ menu and select analog input. When you click on the front panel of the DASYLab, it will give you a small window where you can select the device and the type of channel (i.e whether you are using direct channel numbers or virtual channels). Select the device and type of channel that you want. It will put a small analog input block on your front panel of DASYLab. Now, double click on the analog input block to open its properties page. If you had selected "Virtual Channels", then you will not see any options to set the input limits on the properties page, because the input limits are set when you create virtual channels. If you have selected direct "Channels", on the properties page you will see the option to set the Low and High Input Limits. For any functionality related to NI-DAQ, you can look at Start >> Programs >> DASYLab >> NI-DAQ Help Related Links: Attachments:
