How Do I Prevent a Measurerment Studio Waveform Graph Control from Updating After Zooming?

Primary Software: Measurement Studio>>Professional Edition (Base Package)
Primary Software Version: 8.6
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
The Waveform Graph control that ships with Measurement Studio is useful for plotting data continuously.  One particularly useful inherent feature of this component is the ability to zoom on a portion of the graph.  However, after zooming, the graph immediately reverts to its original level when new data is plotted.  How can I change this behavior?

Solution:
When a user performs a zoom on the waveform graph control, the Zoom event of that control is fired.  Creating an event handler which suspends the plotting of subsequent data until some later user designated time for this particular event will deliver the functionality in question.  Review the example attached below which exhibits this approach.
