Why Do My Task Test Panels Work but Not My Device Test Panels?Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1520
Problem: I am using a SCXI 1520 module to take strain measurements and the test panels for my task and global channels work fine, but when I look at the test panels for the device (SCXI-1520), the measurement is not correct. Solution: The test panel of the SCXI module will not measure correct values in this case because the configuration (excitation voltage, bridge configuration, calibration, etc) data is not tied to it in any way. The configuration is done when creating a task or global channel. Always use the test panels of the global channel or task when testing strain gauge channels.
