B Series Cards Compatibilty with LabVIEW Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Professional Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Professional Development System
Problem: I have LabVIEW 6.1 and a PCI 6010 card. After installation of the card I can detect the same in MAX but when I try using it in LabVIEW,it does not show up in the devices list. Why?How can this be resolved? Solution: PCI 6010 is a B Series Card and runs only with NI DAQmx drivers. This is the reason that it comes under NI DAQmx devices in MAX.The fact that LabVIEW 6.1 does not support DAQmx drivers explains why we are not able to locate the card under the devices list. This is why the card can show up in MAX and still not be programmable in Labview 6.1.The issue can be resolved by using higher version of LabVIEW.
