Why Is the Test Panel for the SCC-FT01 Grayed Out in Measurement and Automation Explorer?Hardware: SCC>>Modules>>SCC-FT01
Problem: I have an SC 2345 connected to a PCI-6023E card and I am trying to read data from a flowmeter through an SCC-FT01 module connected to channel J1. I went to Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) to test this SCC-FT01 module, but when I click on the channel with this module the Test Panels button is grayed out? Why is this and how can I test the data coming from my flow meter? Solution: The SCC-FT01 is a feedthrough module. It is directly connected to an analog input channel on your DAQ card. You can test the device connected to the SCC-FT01 module by clicking on your DAQ card under Devices and Interfaces. Click on Test Panels and select the corresponding DAQ channel under Channel Name. For example, if the module is in slot J1 the DAQ channel would be DevX/ai0, slot J2 corresponds to DevX/ai1 and so on up to J8.
