DIAdem Time Channel Contains NOVALUE After ASCII ImportPrimary Software: DIAdemPrimary Software Version: 10.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: DIAdem
Problem: I have a text file that contains date/time values, but when I use the ASCII Import Wizard in DIAdem, all the values in the corresponding time channel contain NOVALUE. I tried changing the format of the time, but nothing seems to work. How can I import the data correctly? Solution: This problem is most likely the result of specifying an incorrect date/time format in the ASCII import wizard. More specifically, there is a subtle difference between the identifier for months, M, and the identifier for minutes, N. For example, if your date/time value is 10:11:12.12345, your date/time format should be HH:NN:SS.FFFFF. If you inadvertently specify HH:MM:SS.FFFFF, you will see NOVALUE in the time channel.
