Image Scale Functionality No Longer Included in MAXPrimary Software: Driver Software>>NI-IMAQPrimary Software Version: 3.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: Utility Software>>Measurement & Automation Explorer, LabWindows/CVI Development Systems, Measurement Studio, LabVIEW Development Systems
Problem: Measurement & Automation Explorer used to contain a Scale option that allowed the user to scale images acquired in MAX. What happened to this feature? Solution: The scaling option was taken out of MAX in IMAQ 3.0 and later. To access this functionality now, you will need to access the scaling property from your programming environment. In LabVIEW: Place a property node down on the block diagram, wire in the IMAQ session to it, and select Image Parameters»Horizontal (or Vertical) Scaling. You can then wire an enumerated constant or control and select your scaling. In LabWindows/CVI or C++:
Use the IMG_ATTR_HSCALE and IMG_ATTR_VSCALE attributes. NOTE: These attributes are deprecated and are not supported on all NI image acquisition devices. For more information on these functions and their use, see the NI-IMAQ Function Feference Help, located at: Program Files»National Instruments»Vision»Documentation»NI-IMAQ Related Links: NI Vision Acquisition Support Attachments:
