Error -10007 When Using the AMUX-64T with a DAQ Device

Problem: I am entering the valid channel string for the AMUX-64T in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) and LabVIEW to read from a channel of the AMUX-64T. Why do I receive error -10007 when using the AMUX-64T with a data acquisition (DAQ) device?

Solution: You must set the AMUX-64T as the accessory for the DAQ device before you use the channel string for the AMUX-64T. Complete the following steps to do so.
  1. In MAX, right-click the DAQ device under Devices and Interfaces and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
  2. Select the Accessory tab and select the AMUX 64T(1).
