What is an RGB camera?
An RGB camera delivers the three basic color components (red, green, and blue) on three different wires. This type of camera often uses three independent CCD sensors to acquire the three color signals. RGB cameras are used for very accurate color image acquisitions.
The IMAQ PCI/PXI-1409/1410 board can be used to acquire still color images from an RGB camera. For a StillColor RGB snap, connect the three camera channels red, green, and blue to VIDEO1, VIDEO2, and VIDEO3, respectively, on the PCI/PXI-1409 device. A typical RGB camera is shown below.
