Why Doesn't My Front Panel Draw all My Data?

Why doesn't my front panel draw all my data when I am doing a continuous acquisition?
With multi-threading enabled, the user interface is decoupled from the diagrams that create the data to display. So, for example, if you are continuously acquiring data faster than you can plot it, some data may be discarded by the user interface thread if it has already been subsumed by new data that has arrived for display. This allows the user interface to "catch up" to what the diagram is doing.
If it is important to see all the data, you can right click on the indicator and select Advanced » Synchronous Display. With this setting enabled, the diagram will wait for the panel to draw, if necessary, in order to ensure that all data is displayed.
