NI 9505 Module Chassis Power LED is not Illuminated when Plugged into a Powered cRIO ChassisHardware: Motion Control>>Power Drives>>NI 9505
Problem: My cRIO chassis is powered up and working properly, but the green power LED on my NI 9505 module is not on, even though the Product Manuals: NI 9505 Operating Instructions say: "The Power LED (green) illuminates when the NI 9505 is properly inserted into a powered chassis."Why isn't the power LED illuminated? Solution: Some of the cRIO chassis include a sleep mode (mentioned on page 13 of the Product Manuals: NI 9505 Operating Instructions). If the cRIO chassis is in sleep mode, the power LED will not be illuminated. Once you actually communicate with or use the NI 9505 module, the power LED will illuminate. The other lights on the 9505 also will not illuminate until you actually communicate with the module either.
