Can I Run My NI Camera Link Frame Grabber as a Slave Device?

Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Digital Image Devices>>PCI-1428, Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Digital Image Devices>>PXI-1428, Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Digital Image Devices>>PCIe-1429

Problem: I would like to route my Camera Link camera to two locations. I would like my test equipment to be the master device and the NI Camera Link frame grabber to be the slave device. Can I run the Camera Link frame grabber as a slave device, and if so, how do I do this?

Solution: The NI Camera Link frame grabbers do not have the ability to run as slave devices. You can still use the frame grabber as a slave device by using a camera link splitter. Vivid Engineering makes the CLV-401, which splits the Camera Link signal to a master and slave device.
