Printing Bar Code with LabVIEW

Problem: I've downloaded a free bar code generator from the internet, and I was able to create the bar code in LabVIEW by simply creating a string and changing the font with the one I've installed. But my printer prints something that is not recognizable by my bar code reader. Why is this happening?

Solution: Your printer has to be "non-graphical" and it needs to have the fonts for the bar code in the firmware.
