Problem: When I connect a thermocouple to my [c]FP-TC-120 module the red LEDs do not light up to show that the thermocouple is connected. How can I make the LEDs light up? Solution: The LEDs labeled 0 through 7 indicate if a thermocouple is connected. However, each channel of the module can be configured as either a temperature measurement or a voltage measurement. To enable the LEDs to detect open thermocouples, the channels need to be configured as a temperature measurement. To change the configuration of the channels do the following:
