Problem: I am interested in using two SC-2345 carriers with my M Series card. Can I achieve complete functionality with the second carrier by cabling to the second connector on my M Series card? Solution: As of NI-DAQmx 7.4 you can achieve full functionality with an SC-2345 connected to the second connector ("Connector 1") on a two connector M Series device. Below is a pinout of the 6224, which has two connectors. Careful observation shows that both connectors are identical, and therefore, supply each SC-2345 with complete functionality. The only exception is with the PFI pins. These pins are not accessible via the second connector. Note: You cannot use a second SC-2345 with the 6225. The 6225 has additional analog input channels on its second connector, which will not map correctly to the SC-2345.
