Setting the Direction of the Digital Lines on the USB-845x in LabVIEW

Problem:
How do I set the direction of the digital lines on my USB-845x in LabVIEW?

Solution:
To set the digital direction of the digital lines on the USB-845x, use the Device Property node from the 845x palette. Make sure you set an active port before you use the mask for the digital direction. If you don't, you will get an error saying you have an invalid input parameter to the property node.



The DIO Line Direction Map input is a U8 where each bit represents one of the digital lines.  If bit X equals 0 then digital line X is an input.  If bit X equals 1 then digital line X is an output.
