Problem: I am selecting motors for my MID-76xx Drive. What are the specifications the motor needs to meet? Solution: The MID-765x Drives are +/-48V nominal voltage pulse-width modulated (PWM) servo drives and the MID-760x Drives are +/- 24V nominal voltage PWM stepper drives. Although they have nominal voltages at a certain level, each drive performs current control on the connected motors. This means that it will vary the PWM output to meet the current settings. Motors that are rated at a voltage equal to or less than the nominal voltage rating will work with the MID drives as long as the following conditions are met. MID-765x Drive (DC Servo Motors):
