Using the SQL Toolkit with Test Executive

Problem: How do I Use the SQL Toolkit with Test Executive?

Solution:

There are instructions in the release notes for Test Executive 5.0 that detail the changes needed to use the SQL Toolkit with the Test Executive. Here are more hints:
  1. Be aware that there are two testexec.ini files: one is under LVEXEC50 (or your Test Executive subfolder in the LabVIEW folder), and the other is in the Database subfolder of LVEXEC50. The latter is referred to as "alternate" in the Release Notes.
  2. Modify the "alternate" testexec.ini file (in the Database folder) so that the paths for the callbacks and operator.llb match those on your system--as supplied, these paths are generic.
  3. Put the resulting testexec.ini under LVEXEC50 after renaming the existing testexec.ini.
  4. Go to the Database folder and fire up operator.llb. After logging in as a developer and loading the desired .seq, hit the Edit button, go to "Sequence Options..." in the Sequence pulldown menu to associate the two modified callbacks.
