'Error Creating Form' When Running Measurement Studio Application

Primary Software: Measurement Studio>>Standard Edition (Starter Kit)
Primary Software Version: 8.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
When I attempt to run an application developed with Measurement Studio on a 64-bit processor I receive an error message stating: "Error Creating Form" or "Measurement Studio Enterprise.dll Targets Different Processor". Why am I receiving this error and how do I fix it?

Solution:
The Measurement Studio libraries are 32-bit C++ dlls and .NET assemblies. Any applications that use the Measurement Studio .NET and C++ libraries must be built as 32-bit applications because Measurement Studio does not provide any 64-bit libraries at this time. The source of this error is usually the result of building your application for a 64-bit processor or for Any CPU.

To set the correct build setting for Measurement Studio applications, right-click on your project and select Properties. On the Properies Configuration Window, select Build from the tabs on the left and then verify that x86 is selected on the Platform target drop down menu. This will enable your application to run on a 32-bit x86-based processor.

To enable your application to run on 64-bit processors, see the KnowledgeBase linked below.
