How Can I Remove the Flicker in the CWIMAQViewer Display?

Problem: I am overlaying lines on top of my images during a continuous acquisition. When I run the program, the lines appear to flicker slightly. Is there a way to reduce this flicker problem?

Solution: Yes, you can reduce the flicker by setting the CWIMAQViewer.ImmediateUpdates property to false. You can do this either programmatically or through the property page for the CWIMAQViewer (the default value is true). This property specifies whether the viewer draws new data as soon as it is available or if the form refreshes the viewer when it draws other controls.
