Changing the PXI-8461 Default Protocol from CAN to DeviceNET

Hardware: Industrial Communications>>CAN>>PXI-8461/2

Problem:
I would like to use my PXI-8461 as a DeviceNET device. How do I change the protocol?

Solution:
The default protocol for the PXI-8461 is CAN. In order to change the protocol you can follow these steps:
  1.     Launch Measurement & Automation Explorer
  2.     Locate the CAN card under Devices and Interfaces
  3.     Right-click the card and select Protocol
  4.     Choose either DeviceNET (NI-DNET) or CAN (NI-CAN)
The differences between the CAN and DeviceNET protocols are explained in the KnowledgeBase OKCMQ2Y: What Is the Difference Between DeviceNet and CAN?, linked below.
