Are The GPIB-140A And The GPIB-140A/2 Compatible?Hardware: GPIB>>Support Products>>GPIB-140/A
Problem: I have a GPIB-140A and a GPIB-140A/2. In the GPIB-140A manual, the diagrams seem to indicate that the GPIB-140A and the GPIB-140A/2 are compatible. Can I use one of each of these to extend my GPIB bus? Solution: The GPIB-140A and the GPIB-140A/2 are not compatible with each other. You cannot use one GPIB-140A and one GPIB-140A/2 to extend the GPIB bus. You must use either a pair of GPIB-140s or a pair of GPIB-140A/2s.
