Problem: I would like to export my motion controller configuration settings from one language specific Operating System (OS), and be able to import those settings on another computer with an OS of a different language. Can I import the configuration data of MAX from other language Windows OS? Solution: The .xml file that gets created when exporting the Motion settings in MAX is not language OS specific. For example, you can take an exported motion .xml file from an English OS and import it onto a computer with a Japanese OS. You can do this importing and exporting through the Measurement and Automation Explorer. There is nothing extra that you have to do in order to get the Motion configuration settings from one machine to work on another machine with a different operating system.
