Can the SCXI-1100 or 1102 be Calibrated with the Current Resistors Installed? Primary Software: Calibration ExecutivePrimary Software Version: 2.2 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: Hardware:
Problem: I have configured my SCXI-1100 for current measurements by installing the process-current resistors as shown on page 2-9 of the SCXI-1100 user manual (page 2-4 of the SCXI-1102/B/C User Manual). I would like to calibrate my SCXI module with Calibration Executive. Do I have to change this setup in any way? Solution: If you transform your SCXI module channel to a current measurement with the resistors, these resistors must be removed when the module is calibrated with Calibration Executive or sent back to NI for calibration. If the resistors are not removed, the calibration and adjustment may mistakenly fail.
