Opening VIs Written in Foreign Language Versions of LabVIEW

Primary Software:
Primary Software Version: 8.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
Can I open and run a VI written in a foreign language version of LabVIEW ?

Solution:
Yes. LabVIEW can open a VI as long as the version of LabVIEW used to open it is the same or later than the version used to write the VI. Text written in the foreign language such as comments will not be converted to your language, but VIs that were placed from a palette will behave and look just as if they were created in your local language. Note that the foreign language will not display correctly if you do not have support for that language on your operating system.

An example of a VI written in the Chinese version of LabVIEW is attached.
