Why do I Get Error -201028 When I import My Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) Configuration to a Simulated Device?

Primary Software: Utility Software>>Measurement & Automation Explorer
Primary Software Version: 1.0.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>E Series

Problem:
When I try to export my configuration from one machine and import it to another using a simulated device, I get an import report similar to the following:

NI-DAQmx 8.5:
-201028
Measurements: Name specified is already in use. Specify a name that is not currently in use.
Property: Name
Value: DevX
***Import FAILED***
NI-DAQmx 8.5: error code 0x80004005

Solution:
This error occurs when a device number from the machine in which the configuration was exported is already in use on the machine in which the configuration is being imported and is not the simulated device.

For example, if the configuration is made for a 6035E card which is Dev1; on computer 1 and exported to a simulated device on computer 2 which already has a USB-6008 as Dev1; this error will occur.

To solve this issue, rename one of the devices which share a name to one which is not in use. In the example, if the USB-6008 on the target computer is renamed to Dev2; and the import is retried, it will be successful.
