Unable to Import TDMS Files Created in LabVIEW into LabVIEW SignalExpress

Problem:
I cannot import the TDMS files I created in LabVIEW using the Write TDMS VI or Write to Measurement File VI. In LabVIEW SignalExpress when I navigate to File»Import»Logged Signals from Signal Express TDMS Files and select the folder that contains my LabVIEW created TDMS files an item called New Group is created in the log panel as shown below, but no waveforms are present in this group.



Solution:
The zip file attached at the bottom of this KnowledgeBase article contains an installer that adds an option in the File menu in LabVIEW SignalExpress to import Logged Signal from LabVIEW TDMS File...  After you have downloaded and installed this update, follow the steps illustrated in the diagrams below. Make sure that you unzip the entire folder before running the installer.



Now, to configure the signal to be imported:
  1. Select File » Logged Signal from LabVIEW TDMS File...
  2. In the Source File Path select the TDMS file you created in LabVIEW
  3. In the Destination File Path you will have to select a blank TDMS file (make sure to create this before you select it)
  4. In the File Contents panel select the group name of the signals you want to import.
  5. Select the Block Size and the Number of samples.
  6. Select the Start time.
  7. Click on Convert File button.


You will now be able to see your imported signal in the log panel.
