Problem: I did not find a instrument driver on your web site that was specifically created for use with the HP54601B. The closest thing I found was the HP546xxx instrument driver, which supports the HP54601A, but not the HP54601B (as specified by the web download information). I turned off the "ID Query" feature in the Initialization part of the driver and the driver worked without error. Solution: While everything that you have tested worked without error, the entire driver may not work without problems with the new B model. Therefore, the web site will not be updated until the driver is tested. Until then, you can turn off "ID Query" on the Initialize and use the driver, but you are doing so at your own discretion.
