Redundancy in Fieldbus Using Two Fieldbus Interfaces

Problem: I would like to implement Redundancy using two Fieldbus interfaces, the first one will be the active controller and the second one the standby controller. Is there any method to develop this?
Solution: The NI-FBUS Fieldbus Configuration Software allows you to implement this without programming. Double-click on the Network Parameters item under the desired link. In the Primary Settings tab, select the first controller as the Primary Link Active Scheduler (LAS). Note that the Primary Timemaster can be set independently. In the Link Masters box below, make sure that the checkbox next to the second controller is checked. Download the project. Now, if the primary interface fails, the secondary interface will take over transparently.
