USB Device Support for Hardware TEDS

Hardware: CompactRIO>>Analog Input Modules>>NI 9233, SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1600, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6008, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6009

Problem:
I have a USB DAQ device with signal conditioning. Does it support configuration of TEDS?

Solution:
All NI USB data acqusition devices support virtual TEDS. The following USB devices also support hardware TEDS:

  • The following C-Series modules when used in an NI USB, WLS, ENET, or cDAQ carrier
    • NI 9219
    • NI 9233
    • NI 9234
    • NI 9237
  • NI SCXI-1600 when used with an SCXI module that supports hardware TEDS
  • The following USB M-Series Devices when used with an SC-2350 TEDS Class 2 Signal Conditioning Carrier:
    • NI USB-6225 (Mass Termination)
    • NI USB-6251 (Mass Termination)
    • NI USB-6255 (Mass Termination)
    • NI USB-6259 (Mass Termination)


In our documentation when we refer to a device supporting TEDS, it refers to Hardware TEDS support.
