Error 1074118646 When Initializing Synchronization Card Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Platform Modules>>PXI-6652
Problem: I'm running a program that tries to use the 6653 Synchronization card, but when I run the program, it stops during the initialization VI, and throws the error 1074118646. Solution: If the card is not using the correct resource name or is unable to associate the resource name with the card, it will throw this error. In Measurement and Automation Explorer, go to Devices and Interfaces, and right click on PXI System and choose Show PXI Bus Details. Verify that the resource of the 6653 in Measurement and Automation Explorer matches that in labVIEW. If under PXI Bus Details, you do not see the 6653, go into Device Manager, and locate the card in the chassis. Right click on the card, and choose Uninstall. The uninstall option disassociates the card with the current driver, and will associate it with the correct driver if it is currently installed on the computer. To get to Device Manager, you can right click on My Computer, go to Properties. Choose Device Manager under the hardware tab.
