Scaling in VirtualBench-Logger Primary Software: Other NI Software>>VirtualBenchPrimary Software Version: 2.7 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I would like to apply a scale to my acquired data in VirtualBench-Logger. Is this possible? Solution: Yes, it is possible to apply a Linear (Mx + B) scale to channels in VirtualBench-Logger. To configure the scaling, select Edit » Settings. Only channels with a Transducer type of VDC, Current, or Resistance can be scaled. When a channel with one of these three types is selected, the Mx + B button can be pressed to select the desired Factor (M), Offset (B), and Engineering Unit parameters for the linear scale. To have the Factor (M) and Offset (B) parameters automatically determined based on Maximum and Minimum unscaled (Raw Scale) and scaled (Engineering Scale) values, you can press the Calculate Scaling button. After a linear scale has been configured for one channel, it can be applied to all channels by pressing the Apply to All Channels button.
