Archived: Error 1045 - Unknown System Error in TestStand When Using the Assemble Test VIs Tool within TestStand

While trying to use the Assemble Test VIs tool from within TestStand, I select a sequence file that contains an empty sequence and I get the following error:

Error 1045 - Unknown System Error in TestStand

For example, if I choose to run the Assemble Test VIs tools on a process model that contains an empty MainSequence, I get this error. How do I fix this?

To fix this problem, replace the VI called TestStand Look for Sequence Calls and located in both the <TestStand>\Components\NI\Tools\VIPackager and <TestStand>\Components\User\Tools\VIPackager directories with the attached VI.

Note: You might or might not have a <TestStand>\Components\User\Tools\VIPackager directory.
