Calculating the vehicle safety cross test (FAKRA AA-I 12/AK 3) with DIAdem

Problem: The cross test for vehicle safety evaluation, which FAKRA AA-I 12/AK 3 tests, checks whether the calculated characteristic values from a frontal crash and from a side impact are comparable and correct. With specified test data you calculate characteristic values and save the values in an Excel template.

How did DIAdem calculate the results of the vehicle safety cross test?

Solution: The accompanying ZIP file contains two DIAdem scripts „Frontal_Calc.vbs“ and „Side_Calc.vbs“ and also the test data and Excel templates. Register the EGV file filter in DIAdem (GPI extension „EGVLoad.dll“) and start the scripts. All the necessary characteristic values are automatically calculated and entered in the Excel template.
