Extra Serial Port Visible in MAX with PXI-8146RT Controller

Problem:
The PXI-8146RT controller has only one serial port, so why do I see two serial ports in MAX when using NI-Serial 3.1?

Solution:
The PXI-8146RT controller has a single external serial port, but in reality two ports exist on the mainboard. NI-Serial 3.1 detects this second serial port, even though there is no way to connect a device. This serial port cannot be used, and should be ignored in MAX.
