M Series Maximum Sink/Source Current Specifications for PFI, DIO, and Counters

Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>M Series

Problem:
What is the maximum current M Series devices can sink and source on the PFI, DIO, and counters?

Solution:
This information can be found in the Recommended Operation Conditions section of the M Series Specifications documents. PCI/PXI/USB (non bus power) M Series devices can sink and source a maximum of 24 mA on P0.<0..31> and 16 mA on PFI <0..15>/P1/P2. Bus powered USB M Series devices can sink and source a maximum of 16 mA.

Since the counter shares the PFI lines, the specifications for the PFI lines are also relevant for the counters.

Recommended Operation Conditions for PCI/PXI M Series Cards
