Adding the NI Device Driver DVD and Xilinx Compilation Tools DVD to a Volume License Installer
Primary Software: Other NI Software>>NI Volume License Manager
Primary Software Version: 1.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: Other NI Software>>NI Volume License Manager
I have created a Volume License Installer from the NI Developer Suite CDs and I would like to add the NI Device Drivers and Xilinx Compilation Tools to the installer. What is the best way to do this?
If you have already created a Volume License Installer (VLI) using NI Developer Suite media, you can modify the installer files to include the NI Device Drivers and the Xilinx Compilation Tools. When selecting products to install from the VLI, users will have the option of installing NI Device Drivers and Xilinx Compilation Tools regardless or whether they have been added to the VLI. However, adding the files to the VLI will allow users to install these products without DVDs.
For more information about creating a VLI, please refer to Creating a Volume License Installer in NI Volume License Manager.

Adding Specific Drivers to the VLIIf you only want a few drivers included in your VLI, use NI Batch Installer Builder. NI Batch Installer Builder lets you build customized installers that contain National Instruments software from any number of products or updates. By adding NI installers to the NI Batch Installer Builder source library, you can create build specifications that combine your installers into custom configurations that meet your needs.
After building a batch installer, you can then create a Volume License Installer using the resulting batch installer as the source.
