Problem: I installed my NI software on Microsoft Vista without launching it. Then, I logged in as Guest and attempted to launch my NI software. Why did my NI software fail to launch? Solution: You must launch NI software and choose to evaluate or activate when you are logged into an account other than Guest. Then, you can log into a Guest account and successfully launch NI software. Due to the restrictions that Vista imposes when a user is logged into a Guest account, NI software cannot write to the license files in order to transform them for evaluation or activation.
