Do USB Devices Support Continuous Pulse (HW Timed Updates)?Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6229, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6229 OEM, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Portable>>USB-6229 MASS TERM
Problem: I am trying to generate a continuous pulse train using my USB-6229 or other USB DAQ device and I want to use Continuous Pulse (HW Timed Updates) generation mode. When I try to do this I get this error: Error -200077 occurred at DAQ Assistant: Requested value is not a supported value for this property
Is this generation mode supported by my device? Solution: Hardware Timed Single Point generation also known as Continuous Pulse (Hardware Timed Updates) is not supported by any of our USB devices. The inherent latency of the USB bus itself does not provide enough determinism to allow this output mode.
