Does the PXI/PCI 1428 Camera Link Card Support 57.6K Baud Serial Communication?Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Digital Image Devices>>PCI-1428
Problem: The NI PXI/PCI-1428 User Manual states the serial interface on the 1428 supports 56000 baud. My camera requires 57.6K baud serial communication from the Camera Link board. Will the 1428 work with my camera? Solution: The 1428 will properly implement the Camera Link serial standard for 57.6K baud. Additionally, the serial communication may be tolerant at rates up to ±5% of the supported rate specified in the camera file. However, custom Camera Link cameras that perform serial communication at baud rates other than those listed in the manual should be tested and verified with the 1428 on a case-by-case basis.
