Problem: I have an SC-2050 adapter and an SSR8 backplane, and the manual for the SC-2050 says that connector J5 can connect to an SSR8 backplane, but what cable connects these devices? Also, what is the pin mapping from the 26-pin DIO connector on the SC-2050 to the 50-pin SSR8 backplane connector? Solution: The cable is a special 26-conductor cable called an NB-8 with a 26 to 50 pin mapping. The part number for the item is 180913-01. The cable maps pins 1 - 26 on the J5 connector of your SC-2050 to pins 25 - 50 on the SSR8 connector. Pins 1 - 24 on the SSR8 connector are left unused.
