My Operating System Hangs When Booting With Powered-On Devices Connected to My Serial Ports Hardware: Serial>>RS-232
Problem: I have a serial board installed in my computer with Windows NT. My operating system hangs when booting with powered-on devices that are connected to my serial ports. Solution: If a device, such as a link repeater, is on and connected to the serial card, it can cause the operating system to hang when booting up. Power down or unhook the device when booting up.
