How can I measure the internal resistor of the 9944/9945 quarter bridge completion module?

Hardware: CompactDAQ>>Analog Input Modules>>NI 9327 with D-SUB

Problem:
I need to verify the internal resistor of the quarter bridge completion module. How can I do this?

Solution:
The internal resistor for the 9944 and 9945 is 120 and 350 ohm, respectively. You can measure the internal resistor one of two ways.

With RJ-50 cable which has wires exposed at one end:
  1. Connect the RJ-50 cable to the 9944/9945.
  2. Connect wires 7 and 10 of the RJ-50 together.
  3. Measure with a DMM from the 7 & 10 connections to screw terminal 2 on the 9944/9945.
If you have a 9949 available:
  1. Jumper screw terminals 7 and 10 of the 9949 together with wire exposed
  2. Connect the 9944/9945 to the 9949 via the RJ-50
  3. Measure with a DMM from jumper wire to the screw terminal 2 on the 9944/9945.
Note: the resistance will not be precise to the resistor due to the added resistance from the cable.
