Error When Trying to Download a Program using the DSP Test Integration Toolkit for TI DSP

Problem: When I try to run an example program for the DSP Test Integration Toolkit, I get an error stating: "Encountered a problem loading file: <Not a Path> Loader error # 1 Could not open <Not a Path>". The error occurs in the 'CCS Get Build Path.VI' which is a subVI of the 'CCS Download Code.VI'.

Solution: The error is occurring because the path to the .out file that is to be downloaded was not constructed correctly. This is probably due to the build setting in Code Composer Studio (CCS) building the .out file somewhere other than a path relative to the project file. There are two solutions:

• Change the build path in CCS to a relative path.
  
• Replace the 'CCS Get Build Path.VI' with the VI attached below. The default installation path for the 'CCS Get Build Path.VI' is C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\addons\DSPTest\Advanced\CCS Get Build Path.vi

Note: This toolkit is no longer officially supported by NI, but you can download the VIs that were included in this toolkit.
