Problem:
My FieldPoint system has lost its configuration, but I have a copy of the IAK file on my PC.  Can I use this to recover my FieldPoint's configuration?

Solution:
A FieldPoint system's configuration is stored in the IAK file, which is located on the host PC.  If the FieldPoint controller loses it's configuration, you can load the IAK file into MAX and save it, which will download the configuration to the controller by modifying multiple .ini files.

Often when doing this, you will encounter an error stating The attribute range or power up value does not match the current file settings. To avoid this issue, navigate to the Channel configuration section under Remote Systems, and find the section that references using the file settings or the controller settings.  If you change this to using the file settings, this error should be resolved.
