How Can I Access the Internal References of my DSA Device?

Hardware: Modular Instruments>>Dynamic Signal Acquisition and Analysis (DSA)

Problem:
I would like to perform an analog input measurement on one of the internal signals on a DSA device. How can I do this?

Solution:
Use the DAQmx Channel Property Node to access the analog input source property of your channel. In the property node, select Analog Input»General Properties»Input Configuration»Input Source.

For DSA devices, the following string values are valid inputs to this property.

 _external_channel

Default input source for external measurements
_5Vref_vs_aignd Internal +5V reference
_aignd_vs_aignd Internal ground reference
_ao0_vs_ao0neg, _ao1_vs_ao1neg Default sources for analog output

For more information about this property see the NI-DAQmx Help.
